Senior Project Manager — Head of Project management office

The Senior Project manager will provide support and leadership to teams involved in various software development activities. Critical to success will be effective communication with and deep understanding of customer needs, practices and goals in management of software development projects and providing for software development teams management solution on strategic and operational levels.

Responsibilities:

• provide support and leadership to teams involved in various software development activities
• plan the future needs for department, aligning the needs and requirements for the customer with the corporate direction
• manage multi-level relationships within customer business units and within Arcadia’s departments
• enhance customer satisfaction level with Arcadia provided services
• provide management reports and communicate updates on case status
• ensure the global operational metrics are defined, met and maintained
• people management within the department, including: setting goals, hiring, motivation, training plans development, monthly and quaterly review performing
• maintain defined level of comfortable work environment and IT infrastructure
• perform general administration duties.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in IT industry
• 5+ years of managing projects involved teams of 10+ persons
• PMI or SCRUM Alliance certification
• portfolio of successfully accomplished commercial IT projects of size 100+ man/month
• fluent English.
